About the job
We're looking for a Household Assistant for 6 hrs/week (3 hrs 2 days) to help us turn our house back into a home. We have clutter in several rooms, boxes to unpack, and areas needing both deep and lighter cleaning after raising baby chicks in the basement. Tasks include detailed cleaning, decluttering, organizing each room and our basement storage area, and helping with decorating--selecting décor, arranging furniture, and improving room flow. Occasional errands, simple meal prep, and light menu planning as needed. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and respectful of privacy--trust is essential. Schedule is Mon & Wed (Fri possible), 2-5 p.m. Long-term role. Expect screening and be prepared to share work experience. This is not a typical cleaning job--it's a blend of organizing, cleaning, and helping create a calm, functional home.
