Full-time Household Assistant Job #10489 Salary: $45 plus paid vacation, holidays, and sick days, along with guaranteed year-round pay for 52 weeks. The client will be using a professional payroll service. Location: Los Altos, California Schedule: The position requires a Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week. Children: Two teenagers. No childcare required. Duties: The role involves managing household laundry and linens, and specialty items such as shower curtains, bath pillows, and the dog's blankets. Daily kitchen tidying is expected and general house tidying and preparing the home for housekeepers. Dog care is a key responsibility, with daily walks (usually 2-3 times), park visits, grooming appointments. Trash and recycling management includes bringing in outdoor bins and maintaining the indoor collection points, especially in designated areas. The position also includes running errands such as grocery shopping, donation drop-offs, and taking laundry or dry cleaning out as needed. Time should be set aside for ongoing household projects and organizing tasks. Plant care includes watering the indoor plants and backyard tree. Requirements: The ideal Candidate should be collaborative and take a pitch-in approach to household needs. Previous experience caring for pets is highly valued. A vehicle will be provided for on the job tasks. The family employs weekly deep cleaners. Pet Details: One medium-sized dog.
