About the job
We are a gay couple and live in a renovated, historic home. We would like to employ a consistent housekeeper to come every week, at least twice a week. We both work and don't have time to keep the house. We have used cleaning services in the past, but we want a true housekeeper. In addition to typical cleaning, we want full laundry service, with the clothes folded and put away. We want somebody who knows their way around the kitchen, knows to hand wash the good knives/china and the silver, can set the table if needed. We would also like somebody to accept deliveries, handle grocery deliveries and basically take care of the house and take care of us. Maybe even cook something every now and then! We also have a great dog who could use extra care. We're nice people, but we're two men, we both work demanding jobs, and we just don't clean.
