Pick up a 13-year-old 6th grader from school (2:40pm) and split the next 2-3 hours between tutoring, transporting to planned activity (e. g. swim lessons), or simple fun together until dropping her home around 5:30 p.m. Must have own transportation and a good driving record. Child has an IEP and is several grades behind her peers in reading/math/social skills but is eager to learn and is a joy to be around. Experience or interest in children with special needs is a huge plus! The ideal candidate is available regularly Monday-Friday and will continue throughout the summer. Mileage will also be reimbursed.
