T is physically 12 years old but has some special needs. She is cognitively around 4 years old, so many of her behaviors, mannerisms, and interests make sense for a younger child. She has a tendency to test boundaries to see what she can get away with, so we're looking for someone who is firm and consistent. She loves playing outside, going swimming, playing with dolls, going hiking, going to the zoo, etc. Her ideal day would have a couple of outside-the-house activities (e. g., going to a park, going swimming) and lots of time for doll pool parties on our back porch.
