Hello! We are looking for a regular part time nanny to be with our 2. 5-year-old son at least twice a week. Schedule may vary, but ideally mid week schedule. Can work around others schedules. My son is very social and likes to play with other kids a lot which is why our gym daycare situation wasn't a good fit anymore. All the kids went back to school after summer and he was left to play by himself. The ideal candidate is great with kids and has the energy to keep up with a little boy, or you might be someone that brings your own small child with you so he has someone to play with. Either at our home or yours depending on if the situation is safe and secure. Hours are flexible. My husband works from home and I own a flower farm away from our home base. I have taken my son with me in the past but it's becoming too hard to bring him. Our interests are simple. We love to play, make up games, and get outdoor time. Nature helps calm my son. As long as someone can be with my son on the playground (he's still a little clumsy) he loves time outside. In all seasons. We live right next to a park so it's very easy access. My son loves outings (zoo, museums, play cafes) and playgrounds. Outdoor time is essential to our day. He also loves trucks, cars, building blocks, puzzles, art projects, really anything! He is still in diapers but showing signs of being able to potty train soon. He gets frustrated when he can't do something right (a toy isn't working, a puzzle piece doesn't fit, etc) and may need help redirecting his emotions. Otherwise he's generally a very typical 2. 5-year-old boy that has a lot of energy. We're looking for someone who has the energy to keep up with our son. He goes from one activity to the next. Wants to constantly play and stay engaged with whoever is playing with him. Please have your own transportation. Our family has a black lab, mostly stays with my husband. He's very friendly.
