Description A family in Brookfield is excited to welcome a nurturing nanny into their home. They are a close-knit household with a newborn son and a 7-year-old boy, and Grandma occasionally stays with the family as part of their supportive, family-oriented environment. They are seeking a caring professional who will become a valued part of their daily rhythm and provide both loving childcare and reliable household support. Childcare Responsibilities Provide loving care, warmth, and security in parents' absence Support developmental milestones, including speech and social growth Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities indoors and outdoors Prepare bottles and nutritious meals/snacks for the children Follow family's feed-wake-nap schedule (flexible as baby grows) Maintain hygiene diapering, dressing, bathing as requested Keep children's rooms, play areas, and belongings tidy and organized Administer medications and creams as directed Complete children's laundry and assist with household laundry as needed Drive children to playdates, outings, and activities Occasional School Drop off/Pick Up Family Assistant Responsibilities Monitor and replenish household and children's supplies Keep pantry and fridge organized rotate items and track favorites Daily dishwasher use and general tidying/straightening Take out garbage/recycling and assist with bins on pickup days Organize closets, playrooms, and bedrooms Run errands groceries, pharmacy, post office, appointments Bring in packages, light household cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping) Provide flexibility as family needs evolve The Ideal Nanny Experienced with both newborns and school-aged children Patient, nurturing, and attentive Supportive of developmental milestones Coachable and flexible - open to feedback and family preferences Collaborative and proactive in household assistance Compensation & Benefits $25-$30/hour, based on experience Overtime pay for hours over 40/week and on federal holidays 10 paid vacation days per year 5 paid sick days per year Monthly Health Insurance Stipend Paid Federal Holidays New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day
