We are looking for a nanny that feels like fam! Our nanny of 3 years is off to her next adventure and without family of our own in the area, we need an attentive and nurturing caretaker to step in. Our son is 7 - he is a sweet, smart and rule-following guy. He has an anxiety disorder called Selective Mutism which causes him to be non-verbal in most social settings including school. He is very verbal at home with family and friends that come over to play. Our nanny should understand this and be comfortable incorporating therapy tactics into the day-to-day. Our daughter is 3 - she is spunky and fun and all things girl. She loves being crafty and playing dolls and Barbie's. We (parents) are both local business owners and have some flexibility in our schedules. We prioritize outdoor time, free play and healthy eating! We appreciate our nanny maintaining household tidiness with a focus on kids areas. It is also helpful to plan ahead and prep snacks and meals for the kids. The kids enjoy going to the park and library every so often but we have a large yard with lots of activities to keep busy when the weather is nice.
