Searching for a special person to serve as teacher/nanny for my twin daughters (age 8) in a public school-at-home program. Responsibilities include guiding through the curriculum, ensuring comprehension, submitting proof of work, adhering to deadlines & maintaining a daily routine. Since school doesn't take 8 hours, remaining time would be spent on meals, engaging in activities, art, etc. Our schedule is relaxed, yet structured. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic about facilitating learning, eager to take on challenges, & not content with the status quo. Homeschooling allows us to progress at our own pace, so a growth mindset is desired. I work from my home office + we have a dedicated school room equipped for a new influence to come in & make a meaningful impact. We have a small dog who you would also be asked to manage.
