We're a warm, funny family looking for a Family Assistant/Childcare Support. Expect lots of laughs, two cuddly dogs, and the chance to work with the coolest9-year-old you'll ever meet (fair warning, she can be a little stinky sometimes). Our daughter is non-verbal, uses a wheelchair, and is tube-fed. She'll be your main sidekick, and while prior special needs experience isn't required, a genuine love for kids and a willingness to learn are a must. Responsibilities Childcare (feeding, playing, transport), driving to activities (work vehicle provided), light cleaning, laundry, cooking, and general household help. Must be available for core hours M/T/Th/F 3:30-5 p.m. W 2-5 p.m. Can be flexible with how many hours/week 15-35. Pay: $20/hour to start, +$10/hour once registered with CDWA (or $30 if already registered).
