Duties and Responsibilities Always follow parents specific instructions with regards to all aspects of childcare and the child's safety. Any concerns should be communicated to the parents. Supervise children at all times. Create a safe, nurturing and educationally-stimulating Environment. Meal prep and clean up for the child and if the nanny Likes to cook parents would love that. Transport child to the park/local outings etc. Play indoors and out balancing high/low energy activities. Plan and lead educational activities, including reading, with the child, dancing, singing, talking, out for walks and as the child gets older trips to museums, libraries etc. Help with children's laundry. Empty/fill dishwasher. Place the child down for naps. Bathe the child when needed. Change diapers .
