About the position: I am in search of a personal care attendant for my 6-year-old son through the VA Medicaid Waiver System for up to 40 hours per week. Hours will vary weekly due to my sons needs. I may be present in the home during some or all of your shift and may include some early night/evening and weekend hours. Schedule will be made one week in advance for you. This is a W-2 position paid though the VA Medicaid Waiver system with no benefits. The pay rate is $12. 70 per hour and we are NOT allowed to pay anymore than this as the state pays for the attendants. About my son: My son is on the autism spectrum, anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. At times he becomes very aggressive, non-compliant, and very argumentative. Location is in home.
