8 Year Old, Non-verbal Boy With Autism

About the job

J is a sweet, non-verbal boy on the Autism Spectrum. You would be his attendant for 35-43 hours a week, assisting him with all daily living activities to include toileting, eating, bathing, potty training and changing, prepping food, assisting with activities, playing or walking outside, etc. He can move independently but needs assistance in most aspects of life. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is comfortable with pets and who is CPR certified. You have to be patient and kind, J doesn't understand frustration and multi step directions. Pay is through Agency, at $13. 34 an hour. Your hours are certified by us. You must pass a required Criminal Background Check AND a Central Registry Verification.
