Looking For Companionship And Activities For 18 Year Old Son With Down Syndrome

I am looking for a son who is 18 with Down Syndrome. He is mostly independent but I am trying to find someone who can be a friend and companion to him besides his family. We need someone who can drive and take him to events and also would like to spend time with him: going for walks, watching movies, playing basketball, catch, etc. He will need some help with meal prep and money management if you go out for events. We use the CCC+ waiver so the amount I can pay is $17. 97 / hour. Dates and times are flexible - could be weeknights after school, weekends for several hours (morning into evening). Will work to find schedule that works for all of us.
