My mostly high-functioning adult autistic daughter needs a caregiver for afternoons. She has anxiety and ADHD and needs a gentle and responsible older-sister person to be a friend and helper. Having experience with autistic individuals is a plus. She's very bright and enjoys being with others, but often all she needs is a friendly person to be at home with her while she entertains herself (she doesn't like being alone). As time permits, some cleaning and meal preparation would be helpful. Occasional evening availability is great I'm a single mom, teach at BYU, and work evenings/travel up to roughly 5 days a month on average. I have a 17-yr-old son who is good with my daughter, but I don't want him to have to be her primary caregiver. In case you're allergic--I do have a friendly dog.
