My wife is about to have our third child. We are seeking a nanny to help with the two oldest boys while she recovers and cares for the newborn. The position is 6 months, but it may go for a longer term. The boys are very sweet and well-behaved. The oldest boy (4) is learning to read and write, as well as basic arithmetic. The younger boy (1) can walk and is learning to talk. An ideal day includes a short 30-minute lesson with the remaining time being filled with free play, structured play, an activity, basic music lessons, or arts and crafts. It's okay to be creative! We like to take a gentle parenting, or "Montessori" approach to our parenting, and we're looking for the same in a nanny. The only house rules are no shoes, no screen time, and be nice.
