My wife is European and we grew accustomed to incredibly good child care over there, top notch, hands down. We were completely shocked while looking at Preschools here, total 180. So while we continue to look for a good one, which seems like it will take time, we need a helping hand, as I will start to go back to work from being on paternity leave. Our Daughter is 3 and son is 2 months. We are looking for a nanny/babysitter for our 3 y/o. Someone who is either college educated in childcare, or is going to school for child care. We would be looking for a long term reliable person that could come and be with our daughter in home while my wife takes care of herself or the baby for around 3-4 hours 3x a week, roughly. Even after we find a preschool we may just do half preschool and half nanny/babysitter. We are keeping our options open.
