Were a warm, creative family in the Houston Heights area looking for a kind, reliable nanny for our two kids, ages five and two. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 2-6 p.m. The day starts at our home with an hour of light tidying and getting ready for the afternoon. Around 3 PM, you'll leave to pick up the kids from two nearby schools, bring them home, offer a snack, and enjoy some relaxed play, crafting or yard time until were back around 5:30. We do not watch tv during the week. The job involves a fair amount of driving, so a reliable car and clean record are important to us. We are looking for someone who is gentle, organized, and enjoys creating a calm, happy after-school space for the kids. The direct care portion lasts from 3:30-5:30 p.m. There will be many opportunities for extra hours outside of the schedule.
