Kids are pretty much independent. They know how to maneuver and figure things out around the house. It's just keeping an eye on them while we're gone is all we really need. Food is always provided or money for food will be provided. My son is into robotics and art so he usually is okay in his room with his electronics. My daughter is a little active. She will probably be the one that needs the most attention. She is very playful and nosy but very sweet and very smart. She is the athlete out of the two.
