Seeking Summer Babysitter And Part Time Nanny Starting Mid-August

Our full-time nanny of 5 years is retiring so we are seeking an occasional babysitter for this summer and a part time nanny starting in August as our daughter transitions to the Montessori school our son has attended for the past year. Duties for babysitter include taking care of our 2 yo daughter and 5 yo son in our house for occasional date nights (we're flexible but hoping for Friday or Saturday nights every other week) and during the work week 1-3 times per week for a few hours a day (again, we're flexible). One or both parents would be present during the work week, but we need time to get through some home projects and errands this summer. Duties would include: 1) keeping the children entertained with very limited screen time - taking them on walks around the neighborhood, helping with craft projects, reading, playing, etc. 2) keeping their rooms, playroom, and living room picked up; 3) helping with feeding them lunch/snacks 4) helping with clean up after children (while encouraging them to clean up after themselves) 5) helping with occasional laundry for the kids 6) potentially taking the dogs outside once or twice per shift (no cleanup required) 7) potentially driving kids to the park or splash pad or play dates Nanny duties include the same as above but the schedule would include picking kids up from school at 2:15 p.m. and watching them until 5/6 p.m. M-F with date nights 2-3 times a month on Fridays and Saturdays. I work from home 95% of the time so the nanny has to be comfortable with one or both parents being present. We also have two very friendly and low maintenance dogs that are part of the household. Must have your own reliable transportation that is able to fit two car seats. The school is located 5 minutes from our house. It's important to us that both children receive the appropriate level of attention and engagement. They love being outside and love social interaction. Location: Flower Mound Pay: $15-20 per hour (nanny will be a W-2 employee) but will consider higher pay for the right fit Start date: ASAP for babysitting and mid-August for nannying Thanks!
