Bilingual family is seeking an energetic, organized, and education-minded Family Manager for their three active and curious children (ages 13, 10, and 6) in Westlake. A Peek Into the Routine: Transporting children from school and to/from activities, appointments, tutoring, etc. (excellent driving record required) Planning and organizing educational, enriching, and age-appropriate activities - arts/crafts, play, nature walks, games, outdoor activities, etc. Organizing play dates Managing schedules/calendars Keeping the common areas and child's area tidy and organized (the family has a full-time housekeeper for cleaning, cooking and laundry) Homework assistance/support Travel is an important part of the role - particularly during school holidays - and can sometimes extend up to two months at a time Some overnights and weekends required The Kind of Nanny This Family Will Love: Experienced with school-age children and have a genuine passion for the job, a background in teaching, tutoring, or behavior management is a plus Warm, kind, patient, and positive Education-minded, family would like a holistic approach that promotes learning and creativity Vibrant, energetic, and outdoorsy, a nature lover An excellent communicator Responsible, dependable, and punctual Flexible and adaptable, able to be spontaneous for schedule changes, travel, etc. Emotionally intelligent and a resourceful problem-solving Organized and adept at multi-tasking Safety-minded and alert/aware A travel-lover, willing and able to travel abroad during the summer for at least 1-2 months, but ideally for a full 3 months (June-August), passport required Comfortable with pets - the family has a friendly dog and chickens, Family Manager will be in charge of the kids' pet responsibilities Plus, but not required: Bilingual Spanish/English Dad works and Mom does not work outside the home but will be in and out.
