Austin, TX
$15 - 22/hr • Part time
Starts April 29
Transportation Not RequiredHello! We are a family that just recently moved to Austin. This means we are starting to build our village of most important people around us, in particular a long term nanny for our 2-year-old daughter, E. E. loves being outdoors, doing art, & playing pretend. She takes a nap once a day, but I must say she isn't a champion napper, so we will ask you for patience with the task of putting her down for her nap. Overall, E. is a very easy going toddler. A typical day for us consists of having a quick breakfast, doing some romping around or running errands, doing some art or garden work, making a quick lunch, and then relaxing at home. We are really hoping to find someone who can blend right into the family and be an extension of us. If this job opportunity feels like a fit or if you have other questions, feel free to reach out. Job Details: -Part Time Position: Approximately 15-25 hrs/week, M-Fri. Ideal hours are 8:30-1ish (we are flexible here, really we just need someone who can relieve us for a handful of hours each day so we can focus on work and/or personal needs). This is perfect for a college student that needs flexibility! -Bonus if you can do occasional weekends or can work up to overnights. -Duties will include all toddler related tasks such as dressing, changing diaper (eventually support potty training), feeding, bathing (if needed), washing toddler bottles/utensils, engaging in age appropriate activities with E. such as story time or pretend play. We believe she can go about her day with limited to no screen time, so ask you do the same. -Both parents work from home, but will be out of your way. Of course, we may go in for the occasional lunch meal with E. -There will be a training period where parents will be extremely hands on, in order to ensure our nanny is set up for success. -We have a large & loving German Shepherd that is our first child, so you must love dogs, not just tolerate them or be ok with them. -Must be able to travel up and down stairs comfortably and safely as we have a 2 story home. -Bonus: Spanish speaking -Mist be CPR trained
