The ideal candidate: - Experience w/children on the autism spectrum, ideally with a background in special ed. or child development - Knowledge of behavior management techniques -The ability to offer structure while remaining flexible to her needs - Patience, empathy & a calm demeanor - Able to engage in creative play & assist w/daily routines - Committing to creating a safe, positive, supportive relationship w/our child & our family. Responsibilities: - Providing supervision & ensuring child safety & well-being - Assisting w/daily activities like meals, personal care, play & story-time - Developing fun & engaging activities - Supporting our child during sensory breaks or any needed cal ming techniques. - Being a positive role model & providing emotional support as needed Hours/Availability: Friday evening-Sunday afternoon
