Date Night/Occasional Daytime Babysitter

About the job

We are looking for an occasional date night (no later than midnight) or weekend daytime babysitter (like for movies at 2 p.m. on a Saturday) for our 1-year-old. The grandparents usually watch him when we go out but we need backup care when they are out of town or unavailable. Potentially some weekday babysitting when daycare is closed for teacher professional development. Both parents work from home so we would be present if this was needed but it would only be a handful of times a year. About the child: Our son is a very active and rambunctious 1-year-old. He's been walking since 10 months and runs around most of the time so be prepared to follow him around. He does not say words with intention yet but he does engage in nonverbal communication and some ASL baby signs. He loves music and dancing as well as games and playing outside.
