About the job
I'm a 911 dispatcher that works straight third shift. My short weeks consist of Wednesday and Thursday. My long weeks consist of Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I do have on call days that I may have to work. My schedule is set at least a month in advance. My fiancé works at Mill House, Sunday from 2P-9P and any days Monday - Friday will be 4P-10P. Saturday he works 4P-11P. My mom currently keeps our kids whenever needed, but won't be able to do so full time much longer due to medical issues.
