Were looking for a babysitter for our almost-3-year-old for a few hours once a week (possibly twice some weeks). Ideally, I would prefer a Christian babysitter, since our values align with Christianity in the way we raise our child. It would be great to have a semblance of a routine that she expects when the sitter comes - for instance, maybe a simple craft/art time each week, some time outside exploring nature in the backyard, and a snack/lunch (we thank God and ask Him to bless the food before eating). Our preferred qualities in a sitter are: - compassionate and patient - gentle approach - encouraging - love of nature - love of God - someone with experience taking care of children and loves kids! - present (not on screens/distracted by phone while caring for our child, unless its important) - non-smoking please!
