Preschool Teaching Assistant

About the job

Assistants support the teacher in a 4-year-old preschool classroom. Along with setting up and preparing materials, the ideal assistant would interact in a positive way with the children. The assistant would help to teach children independence and self confidence. The assistant will monitor children to allow the teacher to teach lessons. Further the assistant will clean up and put away materials. And throughout the day, the assistant will join in the fun playing games, listening to little ones and supporting them as they grow.
