Nanny In Harrisburg/Hershey Area Starting In August 2024

We are a household with two physician parents and the sweetest little toddler. We will need a full time nanny starting this summer, august would be best but we can be flexible with the start date. We are looking for someone that will actively engage with our child, planning fun activities, playing outside and looking for ways to enrich her learning day to day. Someone that will feel like a part of our family. We do not need someone with a degree or experience in education but they do need to create a fun learning environment for our child. No TV or screen time for our child. We want our caregiver to avoid being on their cellphone/computer as much as possible so they are paying attention to our child. We need someone to come to our home every weekday. We do not want anyone else to come to our house such as children, pets or spouses. We need someone that is reliable and dependable as we are unable to cancel on our patients at the last minute. Most days we'll need someone to our house 6-6:30am, and most days will end 3-4 p.m. however we need you to be available to stay until 6 p.m. in case our days run longer than planned. We do not have a fixed end time for our jobs each day so we are looking for someone that can be flexible with changes to our schedule. We cannot have someone that runs late or changes plans. We are able to accommodate as many weeks/days of vacation as you like as long as we know in advance, we have family that can come to help out, but they are not local so we have to coordinate this ahead of time. This will typically be about a 50-60hour/week job, the exact hours will change slightly week to week. We are willing to pay salary or hourly! Competitive rate. No benefits. Option for overtime when we are on call over the weekends but we can have someone else help out if you are not interested in working weekends. We will likely need someone for the next several years and may have more children so if this is a good match then we'd be very happy to continue long term employment for our caregiver! If you are also interested in doing some cleaning around the house we would pay extra for that, though that is optional.
