Our baby just turned 6 months old. We've done day care for about six weeks. It's hard to let him go. We want him home. We want him to have enriching days while we work from home. Ideally the nanny would have significant experience and complete confidence in caring for a small baby. Qualifications, certifications, references, are a must. We want our baby's day to be enriching, at home or on adventures, and we want our nanny to be able to communicate the successes and challenges he faces. Caring is the primary objective, but we're ultimately looking for someone to invest their time in his growth and development.
