Our son has Down syndrome and autism - and enjoys going to the playground, taking walks, listening to music, kicking a soccer ball, etc. He is sensory seeking - likes sitting next to or on caregivers. He is verbal, but limited in his communication. Intermittent impulsive behaviors due to attention seeking - may throw his cup or other objects if frustrated or not being watched/engaged with, so requires a caregiver that is willing to be more attentive and engaging. We are looking for a caregiver that will love and appreciate him - he is a sweet and loving boy - just continues to need attentive support and willingness to have fun and play with him.
