We have a split family. Mom lives in Loveland, OH and the kids go to school in Loveland. Dad lives in Wilder, KY. We have split custody with the kids alternating weeks with Mom and Dad. We have had a successful childcare arrangement with live-in au pairs that have split time between our houses for the last 4 years. However, as the children are getting older (11 and 12) we would like to transition to a more traditional nanny that lives locally. Primary responsibilities would be bringing the kids to school from Dad's home or helping get on the bus from Mom's home, being present at Mom's home when the kids get off the bus, either staying with the kids until Mom gets home or taking the kids to Dad's house on his week, helping with school work, helping with transport to kids' sports practices, and helping organize uniforms, etc. for sports.
