Our infant will be 3 months old when this position begins. The nanny will take care of her while the mother works at home in her office. The father will also be working from home two mornings. Duties will include feeding and changing our daughter, burping her, tummy time, possibly taking walks with her in the stroller -- whatever is appropriate for an infant of this age. No housework beyond washing any baby bottles used. We have two cats who will be present as well. The nanny is free to read, watch tv, or do other activities while the baby is asleep, as long as the baby is in sight always and that the activities are respectful of our home and the fact that the parents are working in their offices down the hallway. We prefer someone with experience in infant care who can help us with age-appropriate activities and nap schedules.
