**Position:** Part-Time Babysitter **Location:** Wantagh, NY **Schedule:** Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:30am-5 p.m. (hours can vary at times) **Pay:** Competitive, commensurate with experience **Job Description:** We are seeking a responsible and experienced part-time babysitter to care for our energetic 2-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engaging with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment for them to thrive. **Responsibilities:** - Engage the child in age-appropriate activities and playtime to foster her development and creativity - Ensure the safety and well-being of the child at all times - Prepare light meals and snacks for the child - Maintain a clean and organized play area - Follow any specific instructions provided by the parents regarding the child's care and routine **Requirements:** - Prior experience working with young children, particularly toddlers - CPR and First Aid certification - Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor - Reliable and punctual - References from previous childcare positions **Preferred Qualifications:** - Early childhood education background or related coursework - Experience with potty training and toddler milestones - Ability to plan and implement fun and educational activities If you are a caring and attentive individual with a passion for working with children, we would love to hear from you.
