Respite Worker Needed For Two

Seeking a compassionate and reliable Respite Worker for two boys ages 14 and 10 for autistic children. This role helps families by offering safe, structured supervision and engaging, individualized activities. Hours of care needed Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Every other Friday will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. or 2 p.m. until 8 Some Saturdays Responsibilities: Provide hands-on care and supervision in home or community settings Support daily routines (meals, hygiene, transitions, bedtime) Use appropriate communication methods (spoken language, visual supports, AAC, PECS) Assist with behavior regulation using positive supports and calm responses Engage children in meaningful, sensory-friendly activities Maintain a safe environment and report observations to caregivers.
