Start Date: ASAP-Early February (Mom returns to work early March) Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:15 AM-5:30 p.m. Compensation: $30-$35/hour (gross, on the books) + time and a half after 40 hours Commitment: Long-term Overview: An Upper West Side family is seeking a full-time, live-out nanny to care for their 9-month-old daughter. The ideal candidate is developmentally focused, energetic, reliable, and comfortable collaborating closely with parents, especially as mom will be home two days per week and working three. The family values someone who brings thoughtful suggestions but ultimately respects and follows their parenting approach. Key Responsibilities: -Engage the baby in age-appropriate, educational, and developmental activities -Prepare healthy meals for the baby -Handle all baby-related housekeeping (laundry, bottles, tidying, organizing, etc.) -Maintain consistent routines and communicate effectively with parents -Support smooth transitions as mom returns to work -Provide a reliable, steady presence given mom's schedule as a doctor Additional Details: -Live-out only -No driving required -No swimming required -No pets in the home -Occasional travel may arise but is not required -Flexibility is important as exact hours may adjust closer to March Ideal Candidate: -Developmentally focused and knowledgeable about infant milestones -Energetic, warm, and proactive -Strong communicator and true team player -Values reliability and professionalism -Comfortable working alongside parents at times
