Nanny / After-School Helper Needed For 8-Year-Old (Upper East Side)

We are a warm, respectful family and we are looking for a kind, responsible, and engaging after-school helper to care for our 8-year-old son on the UES. Mon-Fri, 3 p.m. school pick-up to 6-7 p.m. Responsibilities: School pick-up; Helping with homework; Supporting his English language skills (reading, expressive language, and conversation practice) in a warm, natural way; Bringing him to nearby after-school activities and playdates; Keeping him engaged in a fun, structured, and safe afternoon routine Ideal Candidate: Experience working with elementary-aged children; Background or coursework in education, English literacy, child development, or speech-language development; Patient, nurturing, and proactive communicator; Able to create simple, engaging ways to encourage conversation and confidence; College student or graduate preferred.
