About the job
We're an NYC family looking for a warm, energetic and reliable part time nanny/babysitter to help with after-school care for our 6-year-old son. Start date: late Dec/early Jan Schedule: 3 afternoons a week, typically from school dismissal until early evening (exact hours flexible for the right person) Responsibilities include after-school pick up, transporting to after-school activities (walking/subway) or engaging at home with play, reading, arts & crafts, etc, and occasionally making simple dinners. Ideal candidate is: - Energetic, responsible and enjoys working with kids - Comfortable navigating the city with a child - Reliable, communicative and punctual - Previous childcare experience, ideally around kindergarten age Compensation is $35/hour
