Our family is seeking a reliable, responsible, energetic, and upbeat part-time babysitter for childcare of our 5-year-old boy this summer. We seek someone who is experienced in this age group, has worked as a teacher or counselor with an Early Childhood Education degree. The right candidate loves children, is playful, patient, outdoor-oriented, and creative. They have excellent judgement and communication skills. The best match enjoys outdoor exploration and activity, arts and crafts, cooking projects, imaginative play, reading and educational games--aka no screen time! Additional hours may be available. Ideally you live close to downtown NYC.
