Looking for a part-time community habilitation caregiver for a 20-yr old, friendly, verbal man on Autism Spectrum in Briarwood. He lives at home with a single parent with a full-time job that is 80% remote, but requires travel, and evening classes. His communication level is around around 7 yrs old, motor skills, cognitive and problem solving skills might be a little lower, around 4 yrs old. He is seeking friendship and an exercise companion who can motivate him to go to the gym, go outside and run, walk, bike, or do fun activities like visit museums, arcades, craft classes, etc. At home, he needs help and prompts to do housework. This is Self-Direction funded, so the caregiver will need to register and background-checked with an agency in Brooklyn which takes about 1 month before getting on the payroll. Gym and meals included.
