Hi! We have a 2y old disabled son, seeking someone to be with him at our house. Flexible start/schedule, working up to 4ish days/week. R has a rare neurological condition called BPAN. At 2y it functionally means that he presents like a much younger baby (not mobile/nonverbal/diapers.) A sitter caring for him should be comfortable picking up a growing 26lb baby (though he has mobility gear) & needs to be open to learning & implementing ways to support his needs (e. g. we'll show you techniques & games from therapy) For someone interested in special needs care, or interested in learning pediatric PT or OT, this is an ideal opportunity: support from our 'village', nature, warm home & community that you are a welcomed part of.
