Afterschool Pick-Up And Care For 5 Year Old Autistic Boy

We are looking for a kind and energetic caretaker to pick our 5-year-old son up from school in Bay Ridge and walk him home; his school is two blocks from our home. Our son is sweet, smart, and social. He is autistic and is suspected to have ADHD, so we are looking for someone who has experience working with neurodivergent children and who is affirming and supportive of children who think differently. Our ideal caretaker would be understanding and willing to work with us to provide him a relaxing and supportive environment in which to decompress after school. We would like someone to stay and play with him until we return home from work, which is usually between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Once used to each other, we would appreciate someone who could take him to the playground or library during the afternoon. We do have two cats in our home.
