About our family: We have 2 boys, ages 7 and 9. The younger one is a self proclaimed scientist -engineer -- he's a fun loving, big picture thinker. The older one is a soccer player and lover of math, chess and Zelda. The boys go to school in Park Slope and we live in Windsor Terrace. I am an middle school administrator and work long hours, and my husband works more flexibly but travels a lot. About the job: We have worked with a nanny for 9. 5 years since my oldest was born and she is moving away. We are looking to get to know someone over the summer who will be able to work in August longer days and next school year afternoons from about 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Hours and days are flexible, I am looking for about 15 hours per week. A car is super useful to get the kids around to different activities due to location, but not required.
