We are looking for a caregiver on weekday afternoons (2:30pm-7pm) for our 11 y/o SPECIAL NEEDS DAUGHTER. $33 gross pay on the books. MUST BE WILLING TO BE PAID THROUGH OPWDD. Must be available roughly 2:30-7 p.m. every weekday. Our child has autism and significant cognitive delays as well speech/language and social/emotional delays. She is can express her wants and needs verbally and has a great personality. She has behavioral challenges including meltdowns and difficulty with non-preferred activities. She needs assistance with toileting, bathing and grooming. Ideal candidate has a special needs background, and is extremely patient, calm, empathetic, and proactive. Do not reach out unless you are willing to be paid on the books, through OPWDD (a government funded program that supports families with special needs children).
