We’re a working family looking for a caring, confident babysitter. Our kids—ages 6 and 4—need afternoon pickup from school a few days a week, followed by the familiar rhythm of dinner, playtime, showers, and getting cozy for bed. Both of us commute into NYC and return home between 6–8 p.m. Reliability really matters. Some evenings we may return a bit later, and we’re happy to offer additional hours. We’re hoping to find someone who truly enjoys being around children—someone who can guide them, spark play, and make them feel safe and cared for while we’re away. Occasional help with getting them to activities would also be appreciated. Most of all, we’re looking for a long-term partner in our family’s routine—someone who can grow with us and become a steady, trusted part of our kids’ world.
