With the addition of our second child, we're looking to move away from daycare to a nanny. Our children are 2. 5 and 2 months at this time, we also have a golden retriever in the home. We'd love someone hands on, who will work on development with our toddler, crafts and early education, while caring for the little one. Light housekeeping would be nice, but is not a requirement. Nature, art, STEM, Christian values (you do not need to be religious at all -- just sharing for your awareness!) We want our children to be independent, respectful, kind and thoughtful. Our toddler is curious, loves to read, play outside and explore, take things apart (this one is a blessing and a curse at times), art and crafts and exercise. Our toddler has big feelings, he's still adjusting to being a big brother and will need someone who is adept at redirecting his energy for positive/constructive outcomes. We're looking for someone to engage, help guide and instruct -- this isn't a babysitting position where the aim is to simply keep them safe, we're hoping to find someone that will help maintain and grow the educational foundation and structure our toddler has come to know. (And enjoy!) We have parking, public transit would be challenging but doable depending where you're coming from and if you have a bicycle or other transportation for the "last mile." We have a 3-year-old golden retriever. She's high energy but loving.
