Full-Time Nanny - Lyme, NH Schedule: Rotating weeks - *Week 1: Mon-Thurs 9am-6pm, Fri 9am-5 p.m. *Week 2: Mon-Thurs 9am-6pm, Fri off Compensation: $28 per hour + benefits Start Date: Flexible for the right candidate A thoughtful and down-to-earth family in Lyme, NH is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their bright and inquisitive young son (9 months old). This is a long-term position for a nanny who values child-led learning, time in nature, and an intentional lifestyle. The little boy is a wonderful sleeper and a naturally curious child with a deep interest in science, puzzles, reading, and the outdoors. He thrives on meaningful engagement and loves exploring the physical world around him. The family values independence, responsibility, and self-reliance, and is looking for a nanny who can support those values with calm, consistent boundaries and a warm, attentive presence. Both parents are involved and hands-on. Dad works from home and Mom commutes to Claremont for work. During Dad's business trips (approximately 6 weeks per year), extended hours are required with a 7:00 a.m. start. A private guest room is available for overnights during those times, as well as during the winter months when weather may impact travel. The family describes themselves as "kind of hippy-ish." Their home is low-tox and screen-free (no TV or flashy toys), and they are mindful about materials and food-favoring cotton clothing, no perfumes, and nutritious, whole foods. They live just 12 minutes outside downtown Lyme in a rural area with its own microclimate-snow tires and winter driving experience are essential. The ideal candidate is dependable, grounded, and energetic, with a genuine passion for working with children and a deep respect for their development.
