I would set up a daily schedule to facilitate the day to day of the kids and their caregiver, including activities/crafts, screen time, outside time and nap time; we can provide prepped meals and/or a simple meal plan for the kids it would be best if the caregiver can bring her own lunch. We have a Labrador puppy in a separate area of the house, behind a gate. She would be left with food, water and toys while us parents are out, and we would also take care of her potty breaks before and after the caregiver is in the house, to prevent interruptions to the caregivers day with the kids. Housework would only include filling up the dishwasher and cleaning up after the kids meals and activities.
