Part-time, ongoing position available for experienced, energetic, and compassionate role model to help teen recover from a serious medical illness and rebuild lagging skills. Responsibilities include planning and facilitating 1-1 activities to strengthen independence and well-being (physical exercise, social opportunities, and high-interest activities like art and drama) as well as parent support (laundry, light housekeeping, meal prep, pet care). Direct experience with special needs a plus. Great opportunity for someone building a career in psychology/special education/social work/healthcare. Must have clean background/driving record and insurance and be comfortable with dogs/cats. Flexible, part-time hours (weekdays after 4, weekends, school holidays, 10-15 hours/week) through the Moore Center. Looking forward to hearing from you!
