As-Needed Babysitter For 1-2 Sweet Littles (Easygoing Family)

Hi! I'm looking for a babysitter to help as needed. We have a 2-year-old daughter and an 8-month-old son. Our son is currently on a daycare waitlist until August 2026, and our daughter attends daycare full-time. I work from home but occasionally need childcare during the day if I have an appointment or need to be in the office. I usually know these days in advance and can give at least a week's notice. I'd also love to have someone available for the occasional date night. During the week, care would most likely be for our 8-month-old, but I'd like someone comfortable watching both kids when needed (including some weekends and evenings). Care would take place in our home. We have a friendly Labrador, so you'll need to be comfortable with dogs. We ask that you engage with our kids through play, reading, and learning activities. Our 2-year-old loves coloring, blocks, and books, and our 8-month-old enjoys playtime and toys as he's getting more mobile. We're an easygoing family and pretty realistic as long as our kiddos are safe, happy, and not sitting in front of the TV all day, we're hard to disappoint. We'll always have snacks and easy meals prepared. You just need reliable transportation. CPR or other childcare certifications are a big plus! Our family values kindness, honesty, and having fun together. We love being outside and keeping things simple and positive. Our kids love to play and stay busy! They enjoy blocks, crafts, reading books, drawing with chalk, and playing with toys. They're happy, curious, and love being outside whenever the weather's nice. Our kids are pretty independent but still need some support with playtime and engagement. We'll need help giving their meals and snacks. Our daughter is potty trained, and our son is in diapers and needs help with bottles and feeding. We're looking for someone laid back, positive, and fun, someone who enjoys interacting and playing with the kids rather than just watching them. We live in a house, and you're welcome to park on the street in front or in our driveway whatever's easiest for you! Very friendly chocolate lab named Nova!
