Essential Duties and Tasks: Meet and greet parents and children; help children get settled into activities; pay special attention to those having difficulty leaving their parents; oversee check-in and check-out processes Help children play together and share toys; intervene if hitting, biting, and other challenging behavior is displayed. Read, talk, or sing to children. Rock or walk them if they cry. Feed children from bottles or help them with snacks when they are hungry. Change diapers or assist children who are in the bathroom training stages; use appropriate safety and cleanliness procedures Clean tables; pick up and disinfect toys; leave the room in order. Ready children for pick up at the end of the worship hour. Communicate with parents about any health challenges or noteworthy behaviors Sunday mornings, 8:45am-12:15pm
